The Mission of the church is the privilege and responsibility of every Christian, is not optional, but is in fact an essential and integral part of what it means to be both a Christian and what it means for a church to be the church! A Church without mission is a contradiction in terms and is a church only in name. So mission is part of our church's DNA.

The particular mission of a church is also not optional because it is defined and given to every believer and so every church by the Lord Jesus Himself in the so-called 'Great Commission' of Matthew 28:19,20.

The basic long-term strategy has also been defined by the Lord Jesus in Acts 1:8. It is in light of this that the mission of this particular church is set out below.

What we want to do

Plant church-planting churches

Where do we want to do this?

In areas where there are no other evangelical churches

Starting where?

East Brighton, as there are very few evangelical churches in this area

Our Mission Statement

Our mission is to plant churches that plant other churches into areas where there are no churches. Beginning in Moulsecoomb and all East Brighton, with a particular focus on estates, eventually spreading out into Sussex, England and to the ends of the earth.

"You will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth." Acts 1:8

New Life Church Brighton is an independant evangelical church situated in Moulsecoomb, North-East Brighton. We know there are many different kinds of people here in Brighton - you might wonder if Church is for you.  The Church is for all people and we love diversity! We love Brighton and its people so please check us out - you will be very welcome!
